So the truth is... there are more updates coming soon on maplestory. Some may say, its not a big deal, but some may disagree and say it is a big deal. To me, personally, it is a big deal because of PvP!
When I first joined Maplestory, a group of friends told me there was going to be PvP soon. That did not happen, which was a disappointment to me of course, and later it turned into a myth.
But recently while I was going through Spadows Blog, I discovered that the chaos update is coming soon. It includes; PvP, Profession Skill, and level 140 equips. Profession Skills seem very impressive to me, though I hope they don't get my hopes up for it. As for the level 140 items, I am very excited for that, they look absolutely brilliant to me.
PvP: PvP is what I am excited about the most. But sadly, as most people wish, it is NOT 1 x 1 player. Instead you join a party, or so I believe, and go into battle against the other team. According to Spadow's Blog, only level 30+ players can participate. Well for now, I know what i will be doing, train my butt off to level 200 so I can kick some butt!
Profession Skill: This is very ironic to me. Just a few days ago I was looking through the features of a new game that is still in closed beta, and it had the profession skill as one of them. At that moment, I was thinking to myself, "How awesome would it be if maplestory had that?" Yet, here we are! This is the second thing I am most excited about. This includes three new profession skills, out of the three you can choose two at level 30. The three new profession skills are; Alchemy, Equipment Forger, and Jewelry Making. So far my two choices are Alchemy (because you can increase the size of your avatar by a significant amount) and Equipment Forging (Will come in handy). According to Spadows Blog, these skill professions are leveled.
New level 140 Equipment: This is not a very big update but its still big. Level 140 characters now get amazing equipment, I am sure they are excited and so am I!
In Addition, there will be new maps for level 160+, also there will be a new boss at level 160+.. whoooooooo~! Well, I am excited. I will inform you all more about the chaos update as I learn more, this blog was mainly about my thoughts. For more information visit www.spadow.wordpress.com.

The Big Bang change of Maplestory
So a month or two ago, the Big Bang change marched into maple world. It was the biggest event in maple history, and the biggest patch. It included three new classes; the Wild Hunter, Battle Mage, and recently released Mechanics. The biggest changes that were added in are new maps and the EXP Curve. The new maps shows the further destruction of maple world and how the Black Mage destroyed it, or so I believe. The EXP Curve, which is very impressive, cut down the EXP requirements which makes leveling up 5x easier.
Now, new classes do not seem like a big deal to me because Nexon has added new classes since Pirates. I am not saying that I like the idea, me being an old maplestory user I was only introduced to four classes; Mage, Thief, Bowman, and Warrior. In my opinion, ever since these new classes came out, there was an imbalance between adventurers and new classes.. For now I just hope they fix that pretty soon, because, Wild hunters, Battle mage and Mechanics are MAJOR Kill Stealer's AKA Ksers. Everywhere you go, a Wild Hunter is hack training (as in sitting in one area while bombs go up all over the map), and Mechanics fire abilities and damage put adventures to a disadvantage.
For new maps, its an improvement in some ways. This made walking around and traveling much easier but no matter what I still miss the old maplestory. The EXP Curve, is a good thing because you don't have to work as hard, and when you get to level 130+ that's when the challenge really starts.
Over all, I am not a big fan of the Big Bang update, or any update that happened after Pirates. I mean, Pirates were an amazing addition because that class has amazing skills. But ever since Nexon added Cygnus Knights e.t.c. it threw off maplestory for me.
I wish I could go back to the old maplestory.. But wishes don't always come true.

Where it all began.....Maplestory
From the height of the sky, and depth of the sea... A new adventurer was born into the maple world in a green apple suit, named Ayazami. She was handed a single sword, and pushed into the unknown world of Maplestory. Unknown and young, she traveled Victoria Island, confused on which path to choose, completely unknown of her future. Magician, Warrior, Bowman, and Thief where the only paths to be chosen at the time.
She observed everyone with each job, well more of stalked instead of observing. At first, a Bishop's flashy skill's tickled her nerves, but when she layed her eyes on a single Night Lord, she fell in love. The speed, the energy and the dark essence of the skills brought her to become a thief. But what she had not realized is that, she was soon to be faced with the challenge of her life.
After training for a few weeks, Ayazami felt as though she would never become as strong as the charming night lord she had seen. Finally, Ayazami gave up on the training ground. But before Ayazami could over thinking her decision, a black fog surrounded her and screams of young maplers filled her ears. In aggravation she covered her ears, but it didn't seem to work. In middle of the noise, the sound of a pair of foot walking towards her cut through the noise.
Ayazami, confused and lost, looked up and glanced at the unknown figure standing in front of her, looking down at her as if she were some dead cockroach laying on the ground.
"Gave up so easily?" the unknown boy asked in a harsh voice.
"What?... who are you?..," Ayazami questioned, "Wait! Are you the one making that noice?"
"Painful isn't it.. its the sound of the million maplers who have given up, and eaten up by the cruelty of the world." He replied, and before Ayazami could reply and\ purple fume surrounded her and attacked her body, forcing her to shut down... just for a few minutes.
Ayazami woke up to the screeching of metal, and her eyes opened to the sight of a dark room. "Hey!" She yelled out at the shadow standing infront of her.
"Learn to respect your elders..." he started, "Now shut up and listen. You are here so I can train you. I have seen many mapler's fail, but I won't stand to see you fail out of all people. You, Ayazami, are a special person because you are my sister. I will not allow my sister on giving up while her brother is such a success. Do not ask me question, I will answer your questions each time you make an accomplishment. Though I will say one thing, we are from an honorable family." The conversation ended there, there was something about him that made Ayazami believe him. Even though he was very harsh, she believe him because of his words.
That day he put her to work, making her stand against the strongest monsters alone and facing the toughest challenges of her life. Ayazami whined, and cried, but he held no pity for her.
Days and months after training, Ayazami finally became an official Hermit. Now, she was proud of herself, but to her brother... her journey just begun.
Haha well, I hope you guys like the story I made up. The guy, is not real, I completely made him up, though he is based off of a friend of mines who once pushed me to train. I will continue this story as I reach a major point with my character.
Anyways, hello everybody, I am Ayazami. Everyday when I play maplestory I am presented with multiple interesting event's and multiple thoughts pop up in my head. I created the blog to finally share these moments/events and share my thoughts. Also, a long the way I might add in some maplestory guides and tips. I have played maplestory since 2006, so I am a pretty old user. So, some may think I am one of those highly leveled and rich members.... No. I am actually one of those lower leveled poor ones. The reason? I have taken a lot of breaks from maplestory and I never played just one character until I made my hermit. I am fairly still new to maplestory yet I am an old member.
Well this post it LONG, but I guess it is appropriate for a first blog post. For now, I am taking my leave.
